I worked with Jerry at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria for many years. He was always there to help out or bring a smile to those around him. We all knew him by his nickname "Jeep" and we all thought highly of him. Jerry was a good "engine man" and a hard worker. He will be missed by many... may he rest in peace.

If I could write a story
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind and loving father
Who had a heart of gold

If could write a million pages
But still be unable to say, just how
Much I love and miss him
Every single day

I will remember all he taught me
I'm hurt but won't be sad
‘coz he'll send me down the answers

Jerry u were such a kindhearted man.you will be missed dearly.gavin misses u so much already.we love you and we will ser u on the other side

I will never forget "Payne from Broke Motors".  I worked with him for a few years before he retired.  He had one of the most friendly smiles of anyone out here.  May he rest in peace.

To my long time friends and family.  You will always have a place in my heart no matter where we are at.  Jerry was a great guy that do anything for anybody when he could. I will never forget the good times we had together when Jerry my dad and I would go fishing, always had a blast. He has always been like a father to me and im going to miss him dearly.  RIP Jerry We will meet again sometime again. 

I know it's been a long time since I was home and had time to sit and talk with you but in my younger years you were like a father to me. You taught me many things over the years. I never really got to tell you thank you for all you did for us boys that were around the house back then. Thank you for everything Jerry. You were a good man with a good heart. Rest in peace. Until we meet again old friend.

I was saddened to learn of Jerry's passing because he was like a second father to me growing up. He was always so sweet and kind to me from the second I met him. I will miss him terribly and my heart goes out to Norma, Paul and T.J.

My Father was the greatest man i knew he taught me so much. He was loved by everyone. When ever someone needed something he was right there helping. He taught me so much especially about cars. The one thing i will always remember is sitting around during football season and watching greenbay packers on sundays and illinois vs wisconsin on saturdays. I hope to some day teach my son everything my father taught me. I LOVE YOU DAD and i will see you again someday. 

I am so sorry to the family and friends for the lose of a love one. I hope ever one can make it through this in a good way.
