He was born June 15, 1954 in Augusta, Arkansas to Lee B. and Delphia Mae (Reeves) Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl Patrick.
Surviving are one son, Kevin Patrick of Pekin; one grandson, Zachary Patrick of Marquette Heights; one great-grandson, Jaxon Patrick of Marquette Heights and two sisters, Nora (Dale) Kupferschmid and Judy (Gary) Voyles, both of Eustis, Florida.
John worked as a computer operator at CEFCU for 24 years, last working Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and especially hunting morel mushrooms.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
