Born February 2, 1970 in Pekin to Ronald and Donna (Birch) Huddleston, he married Renate Mendel on July 28, 1995 in Pekin.
He is survived by two daughters, Shannon Huddleston of Pekin and Felicia (Jesse) Hunt of Peoria; one son, Kevin Carlson of Pekin; three grandchildren, Brieanna, Lacey and Paytyn, all of Peoria; two brothers, Clay (Sonja) Huddleston and Robert Huddleston, both of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Joshua had worked as a roofer for Benassi Roofing in Pekin for about 20 years, last working in 2010 due to his health.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. He loved just being in the sun and being with his family and friends.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has requested rather than flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
