Judith D Davis

Born January 26, 1944 in Kewanee to Camiel Henry and June Madelyn (Berlin) VanDierendonck, she married David Davis on October 9, 1964 in Kewanee. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kathy (Danny) Sapp of Pekin; two granddaughters, Brittany Davis and Taylor Sapp, both of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Judy worked as a Social Services Director for Pekin Manor from 1996 until 2007. Shethen worked atTimbercreek Rehab & Healthcare in Pekin from 2009 until 2013. She later returned to Pekin Manor, where she last worked on June 30, 2014.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Judy loved spending time with her family, doing crafts, shopping and jigsaw puzzles. She will also be missed by her great-granddog Bruce.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at First United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. James C. McClarey and Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 10–10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
