

Born May 3, 1940 in Peoria to James Henry and Ella Margarette (Blumenstock) Harvey, she married Allen McCaw on August 27, 1960 in East Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Trina (Jim) Kane of Wylie, Texas and Mickie (Ron) Shields of Glendale Heights; one son, Tom (Rachel Hodel) McCaw of Creve Coeur; six grandchildren, Jimmy Kane, Tara Kane, Jake Shields, Gavin Shields, Logan McCaw and Alexis McCaw; one sister, Ollie Harvey of Peoria; one brother, James Harvey of Chillicothe, Ohio; and her mother-in-law, Frances McCaw of Viola.
Judy worked as a waitress at many East Peoria restaurants including Kenny's Cafe, Boundy's Café, Mac's Café and Newell's Café. She worked as a packer for Foster & Gallagher in Peoria. She also owned and operated Judy's Snacks & Stuff in Creve Coeur. She finished her career making donuts at Casey's in Creve Coeur.
While working at Boundy's, a young gentleman walked in. Judy took one look at him and said "That's the man I’m going to marry". Allen L. McCaw and Judith A. Harvey got married later that year and spent the next fifty years together.
Judy graduated from University High School in Normal. In the 1970's, she enjoyed playing softball for the Fon du Lac Park District.
Judy's family invites you to join them in celebrating her life from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion on Marquette Street in Creve Coeur. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur is in charge of arrangements. The family requests no flowers.
