Judith A Tolbert

Born in Pekin March 22, 1939 to John and Virginia (Gambrel) Fitzanko, she married Richard Tolbert on April 16, 1961 and celebrated 50 years, 6 months and 8 days of marriage.  He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Diane (David) DeBolt, Julie Reid and Angela Tolbert, all of Pekin; one son, Richard S. Tolbert of Peoria; six grandchildren, Terricka Tolbert, Tristan Tolbert, Christopher Reid, Tianna Tolbert, Drake DeBolt and Derek DeBolt; one sister, Becky (Warren) Davis of Pekin; two brothers, Mike "Tony" (Gail) Fitzanko of Washington and Patrick "Danny" (Debie) Fitzanko of Pekin.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Virginia Lindsey and one brother, John "Max" Fitzanko.

She had been employed at Methodist Medical Center for fourteen years before retiring in 2002.

Judy took great joy in spending time with her family and she loved traveling. Her memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Officiating will be David Taylor, a special friend of the family.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorials contributions may be made to First United Presbyterian Church c/o Memorial Fund, 1717 Highwood Ave., Pekin, IL 61554.
