

Born December 4, 1943 in Bremerton, WA to George Thomas and Doris Berniece (Rogers) Grieves, she married Robert Youngman on March 9, 1989 in Peoria Heights. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Michele (Brian) Graves of Farmington, Mary (Ron) Wright of East Peoria and Christina (Scott) Meyers of Washington; three sons, Jeffery (Donna) Carpentier and Kenneth (Jeanna) Carpentier, both of Peoria and Donivan Carpentier of Galesburg; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Rita Rowley of Morton, Linda Grieves of Texas, Debbie Lane of Delavan, Sandra Strauch of CO, Sue Quick and Mary Card, both of FL and one brother, George (Patty) Grieves of Pittsfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Laura Youngman; one sister, Diana Grieves; and two brothers, Billy Grieves and Wayne Grieves.
A homemaker, Judith enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and gardening.
She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Judith loved spending time with her family. Her grandkids meant the world to her.
Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Chaplain Steve Drennan will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.
