She was born July 15, 1953 in Finton, Iowa, a daughter of Paul C. and Mary J. (Oberle) Jacobsen. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
Surviving are one brother, David Jacobsen of Athens; her dear friend who was like a sister, Sanora Monroe of North Pekin and three nephews, Donald E. Jacobsen of Pekin, Dwane Jacbosen and Ethan Jacobsen, both of Tennessee. She also leaves a great nephew that she raised like a son, Nicholas Rhoades of North Pekin.
Judy worked for Tazewell County Resource Centers for the past 10 years. Judy worked all the time, but did enjoy camping.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services or visitation are planned.
