

Born October 28, 1977 in Peoria to Victor and Carrie (Albrecht) Morrissey, he married Kimberly Dennison on February 17, 2006 in Pekin. She died on February 8, 2013 in St. Louis, MO. Also preceding him are his paternal grandparents.
Surviving are his parents of Pekin; one son, Connor Michael Morrissey; one daughter, Alyson Nicole Morrissey, both of Pekin; 3 brothers, his twin Jon (Lisa) Morrissey of Springfield, Jeff (Arvada) Morrissey of Springfield, MO, Jeremy (Rebecca) Morrissey of Joplin, MO; grandparents, John (Mary Lou) Albrecht of Pekin; one aunt, Sharon Bonnette of Pekin; two cousins, Terry and Mike Bonnette; one uncle, Steve (Jeanette) Albrecht of Pekin and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A 1996 graduate of Pekin Community High School, Justin had also received his Bachelors Degree from Illinois Central College.
Justin was of the Catholic faith.
He had worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a product development technician for 10 years, last working June 4.
Justin was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2002, serving in Okinawa.
He was a former member of the Pekin Moose Family Center 916.
A loving and adoring father, Alyson and Connor were the love of his life. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR, particularly Jimmie Johnson.
His memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial of cremated remainswill be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin, wheremilitary rites will be provided by the United States Marine Corps and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
Memorial contributions may be given to an educational fund for his children, in care of Busey Bank, 33 South 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
