

Born July 5, 1964 in Peoria, she was the daughter of Darrell George “Dude” and Peggy Jane (Van Middlesworth) Meisinger.
Surviving are her mother, Peggy Meisinger of Pekin; one son, Shawn (Jessica) Bouton of Pekin; two grandchildren, Keegan Bouton and Aubrey Bouton, both of Pekin; one brother, Cole (Darla) Meisinger of Claremore, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Cassidy (Craig) Suits of Mesquite, Texas, Gage Meisinger of Dallas, Texas, Jack (Alaina) Meisinger of Ossawo, Oklahoma and Dani (Zack) Lawley of Claremore, Oklahoma; a great nephew, Casen Suits; her uncle, J. Alan Van Middlesworth of Longmont, Colorado. She also leaves her beloved dog, Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her father on August 18, 2024 in Pekin.
Kathy was a 1982 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
She last worked for Terry Maids Cleaning Service in Morton as a supervisor and lead. She previously worked for ServPro and in earlier years had worked at Mr. K’s on North 8th Street in Pekin for a number of years.
Kathy was very artistic and loved animals. In particular she was fond of dogs, cows, frogs, and horses.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Sand Prairie Cemetery in rural Green Valley. Pastor Chris Sansom will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
