She was born February 22, 1995 in Pekin to Alisha (Jakob) Glass.
Kayla is survived by her mother of Pekin; three children, Avalynn, Thomas and Serenity; two sisters, Amber Glass and Sabrina Glass, both of Pekin and her maternal grandmother, Joyce Thornton of Glasford.
She attended Pekin Community High School where she was a member of Pekin Noteables and girls basketball team.
Kayla’s had a bubbly standout personality and contagious smile that will be greatly missed along with her infectious humor. She loved her Chihuahua’s. Her greatest love was for her children, which she wanted the best for them.
A gathering celebrating Kayla’s life will be at a later date. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & crematory in Pekin is assisting the family.
Memorial may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice in Kayla’s honor.
