Keith Alan Tarrant

January 28,1972, Best day of my life, a 9lb, 22 inches long, 15 inch head baby boy, a gift from heaven came into my life. His name was Keith Allan. Also welcoming him was his Daddy Ronald "Ronnie", sister Lianne "sis", Grandma Ruth, Grandpa Lester, Grandma Ceal and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We relocated to Pekin during Keith’s first year of life. So many great times watching him grow up. So many kiddos in and out of our house but there was always room for them. When momma decided that he should take tumbling at Dianne’s Dance World. Keith said he liked it but he really loved the sound of the tap shoes. I want to do that. Well momma said no. I figured he would do it a couple of times and then be done with it. Little did I know that he would dance from kindergarten through high school. Oh my dancing machine. He tried out for Notables and when he made it he was ecstatic. He took Health occupation classes and loved it. He had a great teacher and awesome friends.

Keith was blessed with four wonderful children, Andrew "Drew", Seth, Madison and Liam. Drew blessed Keith with his first grandchild Oliver "Ollie" and then Nolan.

His sister Lianne blessed Keith with his first niece Katie and then his nephew Cody. Katie blessed him with his first grand nephew Lucas and then Jacklynn, or peanut as Keith called her.

One of Keith’s greatest blessing was getting the job at OSF Children’s Hospital. He loved going to work everyday to be with his “kiddos” as he called them. I cannot say enough about his coworkers and staff that reached out to Keith and family. To each of you that were there for him, he loved each friend and family member. He is looking down on all of us and saying now is the time to go have some steampunk fun and God Bless.

Services will be held on June 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Northwoods Community Church, 10700 N Allen Road, Peoria, Illinois 61615. A celebration of Keith's Life will follow the service at the same location and end at 3 p.m.
