

Born August 12, 1962 in Pekin to Robert G. “Bob” and Donna L. (Smith) Bouris, she married Greg William “Shark” Maloney on June 16, 1984 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kayla (Mike) Bone and Kensi (Anthony) Ramos, both of Pekin; five grandchildren, Isabel Bone, Sophia Bone, Waylon Bone, Owen Ramos, and Nora Ramos, all of Pekin; two brothers, Randy Bouris of Bradenton, Florida and Dick (Kathy) Bouris of Washington; one sister, Kay (Don) Westemeyer of Pekin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Bouris; her mother, Donna Good; stepfather, Kenneth “Woody” Good; one granddaughter, Eleanor Bone; and two brothers, Mike Bouris and Brian Bouris.
Keli was a 1980 graduate of Pekin Community High School and received her Associates Degree from Illinois Central College in East Peoria.
Keli worked for Pekin Public Schools District 108 for 35 years as a Paraprofessional in the Learning Centers at Willow Primary School and later at Edison Junior High School. She retired in 2022. The Learning Center was a place that was dear to her heart and she had touched many lives during her many years as an educator.
She was a member of the Pekin Moose Lodge #916, Pekin Eagles Aerie #1869, and St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin. She was a long-time member of the Pekin Civic Chorus and enjoyed being on stage performing in their many Showtime productions.
Keli had a unicorn and rainbow view of the world. She never met a bar stool or person sitting next to her that she didn’t love. She will be remembered for her infectious snort laugh. Keli loved her family dearly and could never say no to her grandkids. She had a deep connection with her Moose and Edison families. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel.
A gathering celebrating Keli’s life will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Pekin Moose Lodge.
