

Born September 8, 1948 in Pekin to Paul Adolphe and Emma Hazel (Eastman) Faux, he married Merrill L. Hall on July 6, 1968 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Kenneth P. "Kenny" (Crystal) Faux, Jr. and Gregory D. "Greg" (Jennifer Gilchrist) Faux, both of Green Valley; one daughter, Deborah J. "Debbie" (Rick) Williams of Pekin; seven grandchildren; one brother, Richard E. (Virginia) Faux of O'Fallon, Missouri; and three sisters, Delores L. Ghidina, Donna J. Goldman, both of Pekin and Betty Geick of San Jose.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister (Pauline Hyatt).
Kenny worked for Federal Warehouse in East Peoria for 15 years, retiring April 2006 as a delivery driver. Previously, he worked for American Distilling Company in Pekin from 1966 to 1977 and later was a self-employed truck driver.
He was a member of Teamsters and Chauffeurs Union Local #647 in Peoria.
Kenny treasured his time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a Saint Louis Cardinal's baseball fan.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohammed Temple Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund, 4201 South Industry Drive, Bartonville, IL 61607 or the Ronald McDonald House, 610 North 7th Street, Springfield, IL 62702.
