9 months has past already...there is not a day go by that I don't think of you and Rocky. I know your souls are in Heaven together with no more worry, pain, or grief. I remember the fun times we had at your cabin, the BBQ's, joke telling, and your generous hospitality to your friends and family. I visit your grave often and I miss you. Your sister, Delores

Dear Uncle Kenny,
It' been 9 months since you left us. Not long after you, Rocky left us. I never got the chance to get over your passing....then Rocky. It has been so awfully hard on the family. I miss you and think of you a lot. What I miss most is my daily walks when I lived in Marigold Estates. I would walk past your house and see you standing in the garage having your daily "beers" ha. I visit you a lot and think about all the good times we've all had in our lives. Rest in Peace. 

Our deepest sympathy to all of Uncle Kenny's family members.  He will always be remembered as being such a fun uncle.  We are so sorry for his death at such a young age.  He will be missed but never forgotten.

I will always love you and miss you very much. We have 3 beautiful children and 7 beautiful grand babies and I know they will love and miss you as much as I will. Love You Always Your Loving Wife Merrill

I will miss my brother very much. He was a common person. What he did in this life he did for satisfaction for himself, family and friends. Never did he try to go above his head to empress anyone. He was always good to me and helped me through hard times more than once to get on my feet. I love him, and will grieve a long time.   Donna

Kenny--I will always love and miss you, my condolences to all your many friends and family.  Kenny, thank you for all the laughs and good times.  Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.  Thank you, Kenny, for your genuineness and hospitality.  Thank you, Kenny, for having the courage of your convictions and yet the willingness to listen to opposing viewpoints--of course, this did not mean you would necessarily change your mind, especially if you still thought you were right and I respected you for this.  Kenny, thank you for making me feel good about myself--for standing up for me like you did.

I remember how you would laugh when I would say I'm proof that God has a sense of humor and that you were proof that God is generous.  I remember when we would talk about the 1968 World Series, when you were 20 and I was 12, how my Detroit Tigers beat your St. Louis Cardinals after being down three games to one and winning three straight to win the World Series.  I also remember when, just last year, your Cardinals beat my Tigers and won the 2006 World Series.  Kenny, I knew when the phone rang, it was you calling to let me know how your Cardinals beat my Tigers--I guess you could say that I had it coming.

I remember how good I felt about myself when you praised me to my face and to others during that brutally cold winter night when we made our last stop for the day at work.  I remember how we both had ice forming on our faces from being hot and sweaty out in -20 degrees below zero weather--how we were so cold that it was difficult to work.  I remember how you looked at me inside the still under construction house when I said, "Kenny, you stay in the house and get warm; look at your watch and come out after warming your hands at the kerosene heater for ten minutes.  There's no sense in both of us being this cold."  Kenny, I didn't realize you would make such a big deal out of this, but you did and I sure felt good about myself that you did.

I remember that as long as we worked together we would stop at Huck's after getting the truck loaded and you would almost always buy the first cup of coffee--it is just the way you were.  I remember in 2004 when I brought over a new purple PT Cruiser I was thinking about buying and I was showing it to you and admiring it.  A few days later, I brought over a black Mustang and I was showing it to you and admiring it.  Then, I said, "Kenny, I think I'm going to buy the Mustang."  Kenny said, "Are you sure that's the one you're going to buy?"  "Yes, I'm going to buy the Mustang."  Kenny said, "Good.  I am glad to see you are buying the Mustang, that PT Cruiser is the ugliest car I have ever seen!"  I said, "Why didn't you tell me that a few days ago when I was showing it to you?"  Kenny said, "Because I am your friend and you were thinking about buying it.  Had you decided to buy it I would have never told you but now that you're buying the Mustang instead, I can tell you that PT Cruiser is the ugliest car I have ever seen." 
 
Kenny, thank you for being my friend--I am a better man today because of your friendship.  Thanks again for being you!

SORRY TO LEARN OF KENNYS PASSING. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS VERY TRYING TIME.

So sorry for your loss- my prayers are with you now and always.

Working with Kenny at AM.dist. for many years and being a good friend will be missed by all.  Kenny was down to earth guy, and a good friend.  May he rest in peace, you will be missed.    

Worked with your dad at the American Distillery.He was a good guy sorry for your loss.   

It is said that a true friend sees all your worts, but loves you anyway. You were my friend, Faux-Man!

Uncle Kenny was always fun to be around. When I was a little girl he reminded me of Elvis. Don't laugh, it's true. I always loved him very much. I know how much he loved his family and how important his family was to him. Not everyone has a dad like that. I am praying for you Aunt Merrill and all you kids too.
