Kenneth Duane Guilliams Jr.

Born February 4, 1959 in Peoria to Kenneth D. and June M. (Closen) Guilliams, Sr., he married Marie Smith on June 17, 2005 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Joe (Carrie) Guilliams of Peoria; three daughters, Cynthia (Buddy) Smith of Marquette Heights, Toscha Upchurch and Brittany Smith, both of Pekin; four granddaughters, Allie, Autumn, Isabella, Kaylynn; three grandsons, Josh, Andrew and Jackson; one nephew, Ryan; one brother, Art (Michelle) Guilliams of Peoria and one sister, Lisa Guilliams of Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather; one grandson and two brothers.

He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in Mapleton for 17 years, last working on December 3, 2020.

Kenny will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved doing Sudoku and crossword puzzle. He enjoyed spending time with “His Princesses,” Allie, Autumn and Isabella.

His private visitation and funeral will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery near San Jose.
