Kenneth R Robinson

Born February 23, 1941 in Cache Township, Johnson County to Walter Kenneth "Robbie" and Melba Louise (Spraggs) Robinson, he married Susan Diane Wallace Plummer on January 15, 1999 in Lincoln. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Dallas C. Robinson, Cody A. Robinson, and John W. Denny, all of Gibson City, and Dale E. (Cynthia) Denny of Tuscola; three step-sons, Joe (Josie) Plummer and Clint (Stacy) Plummer, both of Lincoln, and Matt (Anissa) Plummer of East Peoria; fifteen grandchildren; and two sisters, Joy K. (Richard "Jim") Dillow of Pekin and Betsy S. "Pete" (Roy) Koonce of Carlock.

His parents preceded him in death.

Cotton worked with his father and later his son, Dallas, at Robinson Repair and Remodeling for many years. He also had been a truck driver.

He enjoyed woodworking and reading, especially Louis L'Amour books.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Roy Koonce and Rev. Don McPheron will officiate. Burial will be in Union Station Cemetery in Union.
