

She was born April 9, 1972 in Goshen, Indiana to Dave and Jean (Jenkins) Pepperell.
Surviving are her parents of Delavan; one sister, Kasey (Greg) Gandenberger of Lincoln; three brothers, Kris (Michele) Pepperell of McKinney, Texas, Kurt (Nicole) Pepperell of Peoria, Kyle (Marissa) Pepperell of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Grace, Addison, Averie, Cillian, Bennet, Alice and Holden; and her maternal grandmother, Needa Jenkins of Central City, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl Jenkins; and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Vida Pepperell.
Kim was a member of the Pekin Bible Church.
She loved teaching and had worked as a 2nd grade teacher and later as a reading specialist at Tremont Grade School for 15 years.
Kim loved being with her family and cherished time spent with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid University of Michigan fan.
The family will host a celebration of her life at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Pekin Bible Church. Pastor Richard W. Jones will officiate. There will be no visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset Kim's medical expenses.
