

She was born June 10, 2005 in Peoria, the daughter of Kenneth and Melody “Chris” (Harper) Lusk, Jr.
Kyndra is survived by her parents of North Pekin; five sisters, Mackenzie, Devin and Camrynn Lusk all of North Pekin, Mallory Lusk of Pekin and her special sister, Michelle Beranek of North Pekin; two brothers, Drew (Beth) Lusk of Morton and Kenny Lusk, III of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Kenneth (Linda) Lusk, Sr. of Dunlap and Lillian Lusk of Florida and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
Kyndra was selected as the 2009 Light of Hope Child.
She attended Schramm Education Center in Pekin, and loved being with her favorite teacher, Kim. Kyndra had a special gift of leaving a lasting impression on everyone’s heart and with a smile that would light up a room.
Kyndra loved laughing and had a contagious smile. She was most happy when others around her were happy. She also had a love for all music and playing her piano.
Kyndra brought so much love and joy to her family and will be forever missed by all.
She attended New Life Fellowship Church in Pekin.
Her memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
