She was born November 23, 1952 in Centralia to Jack and Shirley (Wallace) Scott.
Surviving are three sons, Mike (Angie) Smothers of Waverly, MN, Dylan Smothers and Ryan (Heather) Smothers, both of Pekin; one daughter, Amber Garrett of Pekin; eight grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Caden, Scarlett, Justen, Kelley, Matthew, Josiah and one sister, Kathy (Dean) Phillips of Kent, WA.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Jeanie had worked for Marigold Estates as a Dietary Aide until her retirement in 2008.
She enjoyed watching television, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
