Barbara I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Larry. The times that we got to visit with each other he was always making us laugh!! He had such a positive attitude.. Sue and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. May God keep you all in His loving arms and give you the comfort and the strength you will need for the days ahead.

Sue called and talked to Uncle Wayman and he was going to try to come and see you but he was afraid he would get lost and not be able to find his way. We told him not to try to make the trip and told him to call you in a few days.

Larry was a great friend, companion and go to it guy. I'll miss him more than any words can express.

	I was personally grieved at the passing of my Uncle Larry.  I have many fond memories of him and enjoyed those times I had the privilege of skyping with him and my dad on the computer.  Dad told me that Larry was an encourager and devoted worker in the church and an equally dedicated member of the masonic lodge.  Pop chatted with him almost nightly on the computer and valued those times greatly.  I also enjoyed the conversations I shared with Larry.  I will miss him.

		“Since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into 	this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”

	I know my uncle is enjoying God’s presence at this time.  My condolences to Larry’s family and all who loved him.

Larry Harper was one of the nicest guys you will ever have the pleasure to meet.  Larry and I met at Caterpillar when he was the night shift janitor for the offices and I was struggling to learn how to get better on the computers.  Larry would stop and help me and we became friends.  He was smart as a whip about computers, Ham radio and most other electronics.  I will really miss him.

My husband, Bill, and myself worked with Larry in KK way back in the 70's. I worked in the tool crib and Larry was the line steward on the head line right outside the crib window. My husband worked on the radial drill right next to Larry and they did everything together. It was before Bill and I married and we've been married over 35 yrs. We've talked about Larry so often and wanted to get back in touch but never seemed to find that perfect time. Goes to prove "don't put things off". He was a unique person, one that you don't forget after he's entered your life. We were both so sad to hear about his loss. So sorry and your family will be in our prayers. You can live with the comfort of knowing he touched a great many lives and he was totally "unforgettable."

I have talked to Larry every evening for the past ten years with few exceptions. I have watched him grow to a position in the Lodge that will probably never be reached again. He was a worker in the church where he had grown to know Jesus Christ as his savior. I have ask many times over the years how to fix something one the computer. He might be known as a Jack of all trades. I shall in my mind reach for the cell phone at 7:00 PM for the rest of my few years on this earth. I will miss you Friend more than I can say. My love was with you and now I send it up where you have no more pain or sadness. May God Bless you. Verne

It was our pleasure to have known Larry for more than 30 years.  He visited our home any time we called him to work on our computer and just to talk.  In recent years he spoke of his involvement in the Masonic Lodge and kept us proudly apprised of his progress, from sweeping the floors to holding the highest office.  And oh how he loved Hayley, his beautiful granddaughter.  I will borrow a phrase once spoken by another to end this tribute:  "My friend Larry need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life, to be remembered simply as a good and decent man with a heart full of love and kindness."
