

Dianne was an accomplished entrepreneur — as owner/operator of Aesthetique Day Spa she was a pioneering woman in the field of aesthetics highlighted by her achievements as ‘Woman of the Year’ and ‘Who’s Who of Peoria’. Dianne also was the founder and Publisher of the magazine Attitudes and Images. She was a prolific author of many books including ‘The Spear of Destiny’ and Burning Whispers’, her final project was ‘The Dianne Marshall Report’ where her greatest accomplishment was shown through her love of the Lord by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and leading anyone who listened to the Lord.
Dianne was a woman of many talents. She was a businesswoman, gifted artist, cartoonist, writer, drummer, educator, mentor, speaker, researcher, designer, cherished mother/grandmother/great grandmother/sister/aunt and above all a child of God.
She especially loved the story of Elijah on Mount Carmel - as told in 1 Kings 18: “Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God.”
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister Bonnie Lee Sayers-Mendez.
She is survived by her sister Lee Valari Sayers-Hyatt; her children Jonathan Troy (Lynette) Marshall of Washington, Illinois and Patty Lee (Tom) Hatfield of Haymarket, Virginia; grandchildren Brooke (Zack) Gloeckler, Austin Steiner, Jon Marshall, Dodge Cummings and Luke Cummings; and great-grandchildren Adalyn Gloeckler and Callie Gloeckler; 6 nieces and great nieces and nephews.

Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Pekin Park Pavillion from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
Inurnment will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at time TBA at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
