She was born June 15, 1918 in Lewistown to William Walter and Bertha Lee (McCleese) Rhodes.
Surviving are her nephew, Larry (Jan) Lutes of Metamora and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Stockwell.
Lenora worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research in Peoria for 34 years, retiring August 29, 1980 as a Micro-Biological Technician.
She was a former member of the Better Breathers Club in Peoria.
Her visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, with a graveside service following in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
