Dear Van, 
   I am so very very sorry to hear about Leslie’s sudden passing.  She was such a kind a sweet gal. My good friend and roommate at ISU. I wish we could have seen one another over the years. She wrote a beautiful tribute when my son passed. Leslie will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sweet boys. She loved you all so very much. You will carry her with you always. I am so sorry to hear this news.  Leslie was such a kind and sweet person. I grew up with her. Swimming at the pool in the summers and having family picnics with our parents’ friends. The Harts were a wonderful family. She will be missed!

I'm shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the early death of Leslie, my second cousin. She kept our family connection intact with phone calls, especially in September when we remembered her mother Janice's birthday. Leslie was so kind hearted in her actions and communication. And I know she loved being a Mom.

When we would come back to Illinois to visit, my late Stefanie and Leslie would always talk about homeschooling the children.  They are both sharing in the beauty and peace of Heaven now.  My love and prayers go out to Van, the boys and the family.

When I was a young mother of two boys, Leslie was so encouraging to me.  She offered me great advice and a sympathetic ear.  I loved her calm, reassuring spirit and smile.
