I am a former grade and high school classmate of Lori's.  I had not seen her in many years, but I remember Lori as one of those people who always had a smile and a cheerful word for other people, and it seems that she carried that on through her life.  My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you.

Those of us were fortunate to have such a great lady in our lives for she spread so much joy & laughter when ever she was around us. Lori was such an inspiration to all of us.  She was warm, caring, funny, and her smile could light up a room.  I feel very fortunate to have had her as a friend.  They say the Good Lord only takes the best and He certanly proved it this time. I will miss you every day good friend!  

What an inspiration Lori has been to us! We have always loved her. While her body was filled with pain, she continued to show her faith, wisdom and strength which proved her love for God. We will miss her terribly!  We know in our hearts that she did her job here on earth by inspiring so many people.

Our prayers are with you now has they have been for these past difficult years.  It is difficult to understand why someone so beautiful and faith-filled as Lori had to suffer so greatly. Lori was such a wonderful friend to me and my family through grade school all the way through high school. Darren, Lori is now an Angel in heaven. My prayers go out to you and the Hill family. Miss America was a great friend to know, when my mom passed last October she placed a beautiful message online that touched me as she touched all she came in contact with. I enjoyed my time with her at CEFCU even when we both started on the teller line together. She is watching over us but getting the new home in heaven for all of us to come visit her. She is an angel in disguise....God Bless you Miss America...  

To all who knew Lori, she was a trooper, didn't let anything get her down.  She always had a smile on her face and so much love in her heart...a person who will never be forgotten...a life that should be celebrated.

Dearest Aunt Glenna, Uncle Butch and all,
My heart aches that I can't be there with you to remember Lori, but the weather seems to have other plans for travelers these next couple of days.  My mind spins with loving memories of Lori's honest demeanor and caring heart, her undying faith and dogged strength when surely it would have been easier to surrender to self-pity and whining, and always the smile and the contagious laughter that seemed to be her trademark, even with the worst of news plaguing her.  She was the product of two of the greatest people I know, and I couldn't be more proud to call her friend as well as cousin. I'll miss her terribly.  On the lighter side, I have no doubt that she and Bob Cook are sitting in a shaded swing in heaven with a frosty mug of ice cold beer,... pain-free, care-free and laughing about the rest of us having to shovel out from under the snow.  I'm sitting here humming, "Once there lived a little man," and remembering Lori in my own way.  My prayers and thoughts and love are with you all, and Darren and the girls as well. Although we never kept in touch after Tom & I left CEFCU in the early 90's, I remember Lori had a warm, fun loving personality with a great sense of humor and I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to know and work with her. Lori and I became friends when we were 10 yrs old. Some friends come and go but we always remained close and shared so much in life. Lori inspired me to do things I never thought I could do. I am a better person for having had her in my life and I will miss her so much. Lori had so much love to give and everyone who was blessed to have known her felt that love. I remember she started her banking career at First State Bank. I notice that she was still in the banking business.

I loved going to the 2nd floor in the dealer department.  Lori always had time for a laugh.  When she was younger I  am sure she had an eye for mischief,  but it was the fun kind.  She helped me over the years at work.  I worked with Caterpillar dealers throughout the country.  Lori had an impact on everyone of the dealers.  I will think of her often.  God Bless her family and her memory.

my mother was the best example of what i hope to be. to be beautiful; inside and out, to have such a big heart, and to have such a passion for her faith. my mom was the closest person in my life, and to see so many people i don't know saying how amazing she was (which we all knew)let's me know even more how loving my mom is, and how that's exactly how i want to be. it's an amazing blessing to have the best mom. and i am also relieved she is finally at peace, and pain free. she always loved Jesus. and now they can hangout. <3 love you mommy. 12.o5.61-o1.26.o9

  Lori was always there for my family.  I cant believe that Darren met me when I was about the age of 4.  I met Lori when I was 8 or so at one of there many gatherings with loving friends and family! She always welcomed everyone and was such a giving person. I love the girls.  I will keep you guys in my prayers.  She will be missed but always remembered! 

One word describes Lori...AMAZING.  She had the strength & faith most people only wish for.  She was always a blast to be around...laughing & having a good time.  The great times & memories I have of her will last forever.

As I sat looking at the photo albums last night I was reminded of the good ole' days.  That laugh of hers was infectious.  In every photo she's smilng an arm or leg thrown up in the air. She really knew how to live...and in this last year revealed what a fighter she was!  She showed amazing, simply amazing strength,personal growth, and unwavering faith facing such a horrible disease. I have learned alot from knowing Lori. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I will always treasure memories of us as kids and then teens growing up together and the fun times we spent at your house. Your family felt like my family. My heart is broken that I did not get the chance to tell you goodbye and how much you still mean to me. Thank you for my "Daisy Jane" 13th birthday party 34 years ago. I never actually got to meet Lori, but over these last months, by receiving her daily emails, I feel like I knew her well.  I was truly in awe of her amazing faith.  Her love of Jesus would just shine through! Her sense of humor and wonderful attitude helped inspire me to live each moment to the fullest.  I am sure that she will be greatly missed by many, many family and friends...but, please know, that she also deeply touched many who never were fortunate enough to have met her. May God bless you all with His comfort and peace.

Lori, I went to adoration last night and ask God to send comfort to your family. You can still do your job from heaven, He said, watch over them and keep them safe, and we all know you will. This is such a sad time but also a time to celebrate Lori and the life she shared with so many others. Darren, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. I, too, feel a loss with her passing.  But, it is comforting to know she is in God's hands and no longer in pain.  I feel blessed to have traveled briefly in Lori's life.  What a beautiful, wonderful lady our Lori was. From the first time she smiled when she said hello, I knew she was someone special. Since then, I've been proud and blessed to have her as a friend,co worker, & cancer sister. I used to get up early to view Lori's inspirational messages before work, and then send prayer darts for her all day long. She had such a smile and warmth about her, you were just drawn to her. She loved her extended family and to be with them, and she loved her daughters and husband so very much. Her scense of humor was a large part of who she was. I'm so very thankful to have had Lori in my life and will miss her very much.  God bless you all, and until we meet again Lori....thank you for being YOU.

Lori was such a loving and giving person.  She would tell stories of her girls and have everyone rolling with laughter.  We will miss her deeply, but know that she is watching over us.  She was loved by so many.  I am so thankful to have shared time on this earth with her.  She will be a part of me for the rest of my life.
