Lori A Moore

She was born December 21, 1980 in Peoria to James E. and Connie (Angell) Shumaker.

Surviving are her parents of Creve Coeur; her son, Kaydin Cooper Moore of Morton; her daughter, Callie Angell Moore of Morton; two brothers, James D. (Christie) Shumaker and Daniel Shumaker, both of Creve Coeur and one sister, Karen Shumaker of Creve Coeur.

A graduate of East Peoria Community High School, she was a graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

Lori worked in the General Offices of Caterpillar, Inc. for the past 6 years, last working on Friday, June 13th.

Lori enjoyed shopping and was blessed with many, many friends. She was devoted to her children and some of her last words were, “My children are my life.” She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. The Rev. Dwight Winnett will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her children in care of any CEFCU Member Center.
