Lynne Ann O'Neal

Born October 6, 1965 in Peoria to Richard Herbert and Betty (Thomas) Stumpf, she married Patrick Shawn O’Neal on September 20, 1997 in Minier. He survives.

Also surviving are her father, Richard Stumpf of Pekin; two sons, Carson O'Neal and Donovan O’Neal, both of Pekin; three sisters, Diana Shelton of Pekin, Robin (Bruce) Everett of Spring Bay, and Susanne Stumpf of Pekin; her sister-in-law, Linda (Steve) Spencer of Bloomington; her brother-in-law, Paul O’Neal of Deer Creek; her mother-in-law, Iona O’Neal of Normal and her loving Cocker Spaniel, Rocky.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty, and her brother-in-law, Lou Shelton.

Lynne worked for 38 years as a COA with Gailey Eye Clinic in Peoria. She made many close friends during her time there.

She enjoyed a good mystery, knitting, crocheting, swimming in her pool, being with her family, and her many dogs throughout the years.

Her memorial service will be held at noon Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Cheryl Sherwood will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
