Mabel K McClanahan

She was born August 15, 1929 in Walland Tennessee to John Nelson and Mamie (Whitehead) Christopher.

She married the love of her life Billy Ray McClanahan on December 22, 1947. Also surviving are her four sons, Harold (Nancy) McClanahan of Marquette Heights, Rick (Kris) McClanahan of Pekin, and Ronnie McClanahan of Marquette Heights, Robert Edward (Sara) McClanahan of Peoria; two daughters, Sue McClanahan of Pekin, Mable Arlene (Dan) Foster of Missouri, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Michael McClanahan.

Mabel enjoyed spending time outdoors,sewing and theriver boatin her free time. She was well known in Marquette Heights and Pekinfrom walking with her husband hand and hand every night and her Walmart trips.
