Mary Louise Bridgeman

She was born on June 9, 1929 in McClure, Illinois the daughter of Elzie and Bessie (Presley) Brown. Mary married Charles Bridgeman, Sr. on February 10, 1947 in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2008.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Edward Lee Bridgeman; two daughters, Carol Keller and Charlotte Heyungs.

She is survived by her children, Charles Bridgeman Jr. of South Pekin, Kathy Reed of Glendale, Arizona, Pamala Smith of Chillicothe, Larry (Phyllis) Bridgeman of Manito, Steven (Nancy) Bridgeman of Chillicothe, Terry Bridgeman of Sunnyland, David (Patty) Bridgeman of Peoria and Richard Bridgeman of Peoria; 23 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Mary was a member of the Manito Southern Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and crocheting.

Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday June 27, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Scott O'Neill will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Bay Cemetery.
