

Born July 7, 1914 in Elm Grove Township, Tazewell County to John and Katherine (Wineburner) Van Dyke, she married Walter Frampton on December 15, 1935 in Pekin. He died June 12, 1978 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith E. Vonderheide; five brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Roger (Donna) Frampton of Pekin; three grandchildren, April (Larry) Estes of Pekin, Shane (Jennifer) Frampton of South Pekin and Gina (Mike) Kirk of Peoria; and four great-grandchildren, Jill Estes, Jarred Estes, Garrett Frampton and Dani Rae Winterboer.
A homemaker, Mary was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin, where she was also a member of the Esther Circle and United Methodist Women.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
