Mary JoAnn Wilson

Born August 5, 1933 in Pekin to Harley and Mary (Bennett) Howell, she married Ralph E. Wilson on July 11, 1953 in Beebe, Arkansas.  He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Barb (Dennis) Pshebelski of Bellevue, Carlene (Daniel) Cook of Canton and Kathy (Vernon) Huff of Bellevue; five sons, Edward (Lurla) Wilson of Peoria, Don (Jean) Wilson of East Peoria, Mark (Dawn) Wilson of Trivoli, Bobby Wilson of Bellevue and Steve (Jenny) Wilson of Bellevue; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and one brother, Robert (Shirley) Flier of Bartonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; one great-grandson and fifteen brothers and sisters.

A homemaker, JoAnn enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and baking.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery in Hanna City.
