Mary A Menken

Born June 24, 1957 in Peoria to John and Ruth (Moats) Demetreon, she married Timothy H. Menken on August 13, 1995 at Jubilee College State Park in Brimfield. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Ruth Demetreon of Chillicothe; two daughters, Chantel (David) Barry of Chillicothe and Amanda Wilson of Houma, Louisiana; two sons, John (Beth Leonard) Wilson of Pekin and Anthony (Beth) Wilson of Lake City, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; five sisters, Rose Sevik of Chillicothe, Sandy (Jeff) Johansen of Peoria, Candy (Doug) Thomas of Canyon Lake, Texas, Ruth (Dustin) Lee of Greenville, North Carolina, and Lois (Bob) Braden of Bartonville; and two brothers, John (Lisa) Demetreon of Columbia, Maryland and Jim (Alice) Demetreon of White Well, Tennessee.

Her father preceded her in death.

Mary was a member of the River Terrace Baptist Church in Chillicothe.

Devoted to helping the handicapped, she had worked for RCAP Enterprises in Chillicothe for fifteen years, the last three years as the general manager.

Mary loved doing any craft known to man and enjoyed taking long car rides with her husband.

The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at River Terrace Baptist Church in Chillicothe. Pastor Bill and Pastor Dave will officiate. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
