Matthew D Branchfield

He was born November 10, 1983 in Pekin to Michael Joseph and Rhonda Kaye (Farson) Branchfield.

Surviving are his mother, Rhonda K. Branchfield of Pekin; his father, Michael J. (Jackie Cooper) of Chillicothe; one brother, Michael J., Jr. (Sherri) Branchfield of Eureka; his maternal grandparents, Carl and Neva Farson of Pekin and a paternal step-grandmother, Judy Howard of Peoria. He also leaves an aunt, Jodie R. Barnett of Pekin and an uncle, Kevin (Rebecca) Farson of Adrian, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Centa Branchfield.

Matt was a 2002 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

He last worked as for XPAC as a fork truck driver. He previously worked as an over-the-road truck driver.

Matt loved to travel and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing pool. He also enjoyed fishing and off road mud bogging.

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.Monday, January 19, 2009 at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
