

Born December 21, 1932 in Canton to Harry and Sadie (Bedwell) Warren, she married George Gasparac on January 24, 1959 in Canton. He died on July 17, 1990. She also was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Zachary Short.
Surviving are three children, Christopher (Rene) Imler of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Tammy (Chuck) Daily of Glasford and Eric (Debbie) Gasparac of Pekin; five grandchildren, Heather Robertson, John (Kyrie Phillips) Gasparac, Lacy (Travis) Guzman, all of Pekin, Christopher George (Vicki) Imler of West Virginia and Michael Nowak of Whitehouse, Tennessee; six great-grandchildren, Ryder Yancey, Johnathan Robertson, Julienna Robertson, Zander Underwood, Lillian Gasparac and Jaxon Guzman and one sister, Linda Jones.
Norma worked for CDA Limited in Peoria as a manager for 26 years, retiring in 1988. She also worked with collections and repossessions for the bankruptcy courts in Peoria.
She enjoyed traveling, especially with her best friend, George and spending time with family. She enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren, baking and reading. For many years in retirement, Norma was a dedicated volunteer at OSF St. Francis Medical Center and last volunteered in their pharmacy.
She was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Heather Robertson, her granddaughter, will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
