Norma Eileen Klein

Born February 5, 1930 in Pekin to Edward J. and Virgil Lillian “Virgie” (Westrope) Thomas, she married Charles W. Klein on April 21, 1951 in Pekin. He died July 29, 2009 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Karen Sue Chance on October 18, 2019 in Peoria; one brother, Robert Thomas and one sister, Betty Thomas.

Surviving are one son, Charles Michael Klein of Pekin; one daughter, Barbara (Guy) Mussey of Fredericksburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Nicole (Cody) Reese, Alicia (Trevor) Bannister, Kristin Mussey and Lauren Mussey and five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Ella, Amy and Elijah.

Norma retired from Pekin Insurance, where she was an auto insurance underwriter for many years.

An avid reader, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Her life was centered around her family.

She attended Faith Baptist Church in Pekin.

Her private graveside burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
