He was born April 25, 1996 in Pekin to Frank McClary and Donna Evans.
Surviving are his parents, Frank McClary of Dumfermline and Donna Evans of Pekin; one brother, Frank McClary II of Pekin; one sister, Darlene McClary of Pekin; his grandmothers, Phyllis Gardner of Kingston Mines and Neoma McClary of Pekin.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
He was a sophomore at Pekin Community High School.
An animal lover, Cody enjoyed video games and computer games, going to movies and loved going shopping. He also loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jesse Bartz will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
