Patricia "Pat" A. Zimmerman

Born March 5, 1941 in Peoria to Charles and Colleen (Cartwright) Bartholomew, she married Virgil A. Zimmerman on December 20, 1958. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kelley (Mark) Walters and Kathleen (Aaron) Sundell, both of Delavan; two sons, Timothy (Deb) Zimmerman of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Kevin (Rhonda) Zimmerman of Delavan; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one sister, Charleen Dowell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Clayton Alan Zimmerman; one grandson, Jace Walters and one sister, Linda Burton.

Patricia had last worked as a bookkeeper for four years at Don Taylor & Sons in East Peoria before retiring in 2005. She previously worked in various nursing homes in the area that included Charles Franks at Leisure Hills in Pekin and Queenwood Nursing Home in Morton.

She enjoyed sewing, making jewelry, reading and spending quality time with her family.

Her graveside service will be at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
