
Born June 20, 1928 in Vigo County, Indiana to George Oscar Frost and Lera (Sullivan) Bryant, he married Rose Brickner on August 5, 1949 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul Edward Bryant, Jr. of Springfield and Stephen Michael Bryant of Normal; and three grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Suzanne Bryant of San Diego, California, Natalie Beth Bryant of Carbondale, and Chance Payton Bryant of Normal.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
He had served in the United States Army in Japan.
Paul owned and operated the Spudnut Shop in Pekin for 47 years.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Paul enjoyed horses, golfing, and studying the Bible.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Don Rhode will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
