

Born September 3, 1942 in Peoria to Glen and Ida “Jane” (Charlton) Kincaid, he married Bobbie Jo Bush on July 15, 1962 in Delavan.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years; one son, Jon (ReGina) Kincaid of Peoria; one daughter, Shelley (William) Hauter of Morton; eight grandchildren, Bethany (Garrett) Albrecht, Richie (Kayleigh) Kincaid, Teddy (Kate) Kincaid, Aubrey (Gabe Pyle) Hauter, Ryan Hauter, Jacob (Rebekah) Hauter, Lindsey Hauter and Mahaela Hauter; five great-grandsons, Logan Albrecht, Landon Albrecht, Owen Kincaid, Charles Kincaid and Elliott Kincaid and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger Kincaid of Delavan.
Paul was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years before retiring in 1993. He was a former member of the UAW Local 974 in East Peoria.
An avid Chicago Bears fan, Paul loved boating and fishing in the ocean and eating out. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family and adored his grandchildren.
Paul was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Groveland and a former member of Bay View Baptist Church in Washington.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jonathan Chadbourn and Pastor John Worsham will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be provided by the United States Air Force. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
