Paul D Rigdon

He was born July 24, 1961 in Pinckneyville to Eugene Robert and Nancy Rae (Logan) Rigdon.

Surviving are his parents of Pekin; two sons, Zachary Rigdon and Kade Rigdon, both of Pekin; two daughters, Ashley (Allen) Hawkins and Kasey Rigdon, both of Pekin; three grandchildren; three brothers, Michael (Kathy) Rigdon and Mark Rigdon, both of Pekin, and Tod (Catherine) Rigdon of Manito; one sister, Gina (Sam) Moses of Pekin; and his girlfriend, Sherry Van Dyke of Pekin.

His grandparents preceded him in death.

Paul had worked for Wackenhut Security for 20 years, last working as the rank of Major.  He later worked for Pro-Fab, Inc. in Morton for 3 ½ years.

Paul enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing the guitar, and working on cars.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Dr. Timothy Najpaver will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Pekin.
