He was born January 6, 1974 in Pekin to Richard W. “Rick” and Barbara Jean (Hoeft) Shore.
Surviving are his father of Pekin; one sister, Denise (Kevin) Gryp of South Pekin; one niece, Kamryn E. Gryp of South Pekin; one nephew, Peyton E. Gryp of South Pekin; two aunts, Phyllis Frampton and Sharon Broomfield, both of Pekin and one uncle, Gary Hoeft of Manito.
He was preceded in death by his mother on December 10, 2011 in Pekin and his grandparents.
Rick worked for Nelson Global in Morton. Rick was an avid fan of the old muscle cars of the 70’s, owning a few along the way.
His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services are planned and cremation will be accorded.
