

He was born on August 11, 1949, a son of Riggs Corbin and Betty Bernice (Osman) Corbin. Rick married Theone Kay "Teddy" Zehr on June 21, 1969 in North Pekin. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2025 in Pekin.
He is survived by his daughter, Alison (David) Jackson of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Abigail Jackson of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and Nathan Jackson of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; one sister, Karen Hirth of East Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School, Class of 1967.
Rick worked as a machinist for Caterpillar, Inc. in Mossville for over 25 years, retiring in 2013. He was a proud member of UAW Local #974 and represented them as a union steward for many years.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, where he served as a Welcome Center volunteer, greeting all those who entered the doors.
Rick was a gearhead car enthusiast, spending many hours tinkering with countless vehicles over the years. He was also a Harley-Davidson owner; he and his wife Teddy enjoyed making memories on bike rides and trips. He was a talented craftsman and artist and became an avid photographer during his later years.
Rick's service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Gary Roseboom will officiate. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10:00 am until service time. The burial will take place in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
