Robert T Hayden

Born December 15, 1936 in Hopkinsville, KY to William and Katie (Long) Hayden, he married Winona Kitchell on August 28, 1965 in Pekin. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2011 in Pekin.

Also preceding him in death are his parents; two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are two daughters, Kay Hayden of Ft. Myers, FL and LaDonna (David) Fabian of Clancey, MT; three sons, Steven Hayden of Lehigh Acres, FL, James (April) Todd and Gregg Todd, both of Pekin; four grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Samples of KY and Joyce Rogers of IN; and his loving companion, Jackie Sutton of Pekin.

Robert had worked at Scrap Products as a switchman for 28 years, retiring in 2000.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and going to auctions.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Tim Kruzan will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
