

Born September 15, 1936 in Hannibal, Missouri to Jim Andy and Ora Letha (Woodson) Pulis, he married Iva A. Gisi on January 25, 1986 in Pekin. She died October 12, 2017 in Pekin. He also was preceded in death by his parents and one stepdaughter, Vikki Gisi.
Surviving are one son, Bradley A. Pulis of Pekin; one stepson, Don (Connie) Gisi of Cocoa, Florida; one stepdaughter, Patty (Brett) Rien of Corinth, Texas; four grandchildren, Audra (Clint) Ressel of Ft. Worth, Texas, James (Jess) Pulis of Pekin; Josh Gisi and Brittany Gisi and three great-grandchildren, Abigail Ressel, Jacob Ressel and Travis Ressel.
Bob had served in the Illinois National Guard.
He first worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 16 years and then owned and operated a sporting goods store, Bob’s Gun & Sport Shop, until a fire destroyed the business in 1976. He then worked as a mechanic at several area car dealerships and last at B & B Radiator Repair in Pekin.
Bob was a fan of NASCAR.
His graveside service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
