

He was born March 13, 1950 in Pekin to Denny G. and Donna Lee (Hayes) Rose.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Donna and Clarence "Buster" Hacker of Tomahawk, Wisconsin; his father, Denny Rose of Siren, Wisconsin; two sisters, Janet S. (Mike) Buzick of North Pekin and Denise D. "Dee Dee" (Tom) Kondrat of Peoria Heights and several nieces and nephews.
He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
Ron was an over the road truck driver for many years, last working in June 2005. He previously farmed in the Pekin and Green Valley areas. He also had worked as a dialysis technician for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was a member of Gethsemane Church in Pekin.
Ron enjoyed painting and pencil art.
His funeral will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Frank Noyes will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
