

He was born August 22, 1972 in Pekin to Mark and Barbara (Johnson) Huls. He was preceded in death by his father and two grandfathers, Donald Johnson and Robert Huls.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara Lamberson of Pekin; his step-father, Patrick Lamberson of Pekin; his maternal grandmother, Joyce (Ray Bianchi) Johnson of Pekin; three daughters, Brianna (Austin) Huls of Morton, Cheyenne (Cole) Lowery of Pekin and Ali (Aaron) Jones of East Peoria; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Dan (Jenny) Huls of Arizona and Steve (Heather) Huls of Trivoli; one sister, Jen Huls of Pekin; his dog, Shadow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Scott worked at his family business, Johnson Mechanical Service in Pekin for 20 years in delivery and warehouse.
Family was important to Scott. He enjoyed gathering around family bonfires, cooking out and playing dice, darts and bags. He also enjoyed fishing with his step-father.
His memorial visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
