Born October 21, 1965 in Peoria to Jack and Loretta (Guthrie) Moore, he married JoAnn Dobbs on June 11, 1988 in Arlington.
Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters, Shana and Erica Moore, both of Arlington; 3 grandchildren; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother.
Scott had been a union carpenter for 25 years.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Scott was Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m., Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Randy Gentry will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a monument at the cemetery.
