He was born February 23, 1948 in Pekin to Jim Davis and Virginia (Montgomery-Davis) Jennings.
He is survived by his partner in life, Margaret Elam of East Peoria; four children, Ricky, Shawna, Carrie and Stevie; his step-children, Deb Highley, Clara Elam, Sandy Maloney, Bill Elam and Delia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers, Michael Davis of Annaheim, California and Patrick Davis of Oklahoma; and one sister, Lori.
Stephen had worked as an auto mechanic for many years.
He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davisons. He liked to build them, ride them and fix them up.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no visitation or services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
