

Born February 11, 1946 in Peoria to Harold and Mildred Aderon Hofmann, she married Larry E. Barnes on April 29, 1978 in Pekin.
Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, Billie Barker of Green Valley and Brad (Theresa) Barker of Groveland; 3 daughters, Tracie Schoch of Pekin, Tammy (Mike) Stastz of North Pekin, and Brandee (Trent) Oliver of Trivoli; 8 grandchldren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Gregory (Kathy) Hofmann of Ocala, Florida; and 2 step-brothers, Steven Wagemann of Pekin and Tom (Neva) Wagemann of North Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Last working the first week of September, Suzann was the circulation manager for the Pekin Daily Times.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking, cleaning, and camping at the Yogi Bear Campground at Goodfield.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin chapel. Rev. Dr. Curtis Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2006at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
