Born June 23, 1950 in Sandwich, he was the son of Charles and Helen (Metz) Lane. He married Marilyn Cotton on September 13, 1969 in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Terry Jackson, Jr. of East Peoria and Scott (Carolyn) Jackson of Pekin; 1 daughter, Kathy (Roy) Leeper of North Pekin; 9 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Edward (Pam) Jackson of Las Vegas.
Terry worked for Fleming Packaging Company in Peoria for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed owning and working on classic cars, camping, and attending his grandson’s Special Olympics events.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
