Terry E Thomas

Born April 12, 1952 in Canton to Marion Karl and JoAnn (Myers) Thomas, he married Jeanne Marie Wynd on May 23, 1981 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Canton; four daughters, Jessica L. Thomas, Kelly N. Allen, Molly S. Thomas, and Melissa M. Thomas, all of Pekin; one son, Nicholas L. Thomas of Pekin; one granddaughter, Ashlyn R. Allen of Pekin; two sisters, Cynthia L. (Lyle) Hickman of Canton and Christy J. (Sam) Smith of Breeds; one brother, Ronald M. (Pam) Thomas of Lewistown; and one half-sister, Diane M. Burhams of Canton.

He was preceded in death by one half-brother, Charles S. Thomas.

Terry worked 32 years for Caterpillar, Inc. first in Mapleton and later in the metallurgy lab as a supervisor in Morton, last working Friday.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also coached his kid's softball teams.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Romine will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund for the Thomas children in care of CEFCU.
